polly puts the kettle on

I'm actually perched on one of the stiff chairs scattered across the boarding room in the airport, waiting to board the plane to Korea. Poured through a magazine bought from the drugstore, learned new work out moves to get Jennifer Aniston's shoulders, coveted a sick pair of leopard printed Alexander Wangs, counted the number of absurdly ugly plaid scarves (seventeen), and feeling the beginning of an crick in my neck, and the flight is still not ready when we were supposed to be in the plane a good twenty minutes ago.

Efficiency, it's a dying breed.

I've always found heavily glossed lips unattractive.

They are those you come across in fashion magazines, the set of puckers so heavily and thoroughly smeared with lip gloss, it looked like somebody lacquered them. They look artificial and well, plastic to me. There's nothing remotely soft or inviting about them- with their glints and shimmers, I think if I lean close enough I could see myself in them. And needless to say, it is a well known fact boys absolutely loathe lips that have been slapped with a fresh coat of gloss. "It's like smooching a sticky lollipop", a male friend once declared. I think the sexiest pair of lips are the kinds that are soft and gloss free, like they have been thoroughly kissed for hours and are slightly bruised and tender. Au Natural, comprend?
